Live Webinar for Expedition 504S – The Volcanic Ash Record from the Ontong Java Plateau

Registration is now open to attend the webinar dedicated to the IODP³ Expedition 504S: The Volcanic Ash Record from the Ontong Java Plateau Ontong Java Plateau: testing models of subduction reversal and wind transport in the western equatorial Pacific on Wednesday 3 December 2025 at 11am (GMT).

This webinar is aimed at all scientists potentially interested in applying to be part of Expedition 504S.  There will be the opportunity to find out more about the expedition, ask questions of the Co-Chief Scientist and panelists, and to find out more about the application process.

The webinar will be run on Zoom Webinars. All participants except the panelists will have cameras and microphones disabled by default, and all interactions and questions will be asked through the Zoom Webinar Q&A facility.

If you are unable to attend live the webinar, and the Q&A transcript, will be recorded and available on the IODP³ website soon after the event.
