IODP3 proposals for new scientific ocean drilling expeditions and Land-to-Sea drilling expeditions, and for “Scientific Projects using Ocean Drilling Archives” (SPARCs) based on existing legacy assets (core, samples & data) may be submitted at any time.
However, evaluation of proposals begins after these annual submission deadlines:
