Scientific Ocean Drilling and SPARC proposal deadline coming soon: 3rd March 2025!

With our first IODP3 proposal deadline coming up soon, we would like to remind the IODP3 community to ensure that all proposals are completed and submitted by midnight GMT on 3rd March 2025 via the IODP3 Gateway.

The IODP3 Gateway now accepts all proposal types - i.e. SPARCs and all forms of Scientific Ocean Drilling proposals - and submission guidelines can be found on our website here . These include step-by-step instructions and screenshots to help you navigate the Gateway system.

Any proposals submitted after the deadline will be reviewed in the next evaluation cycle. Please note - there is only one annual deadline for SPARC proposals, so any SPARC submissions received after 3rd March will not be assessed until February 2026!
