Scientific Ocean Drilling and SPARC proposal deadline coming soon: 3rd March 2025!

With our first IODP³ proposal deadline coming up soon, we would like to remind the IODP³ community to ensure that all proposals are completed and submitted by midnight GMT on 3^rd March 2025 via the IODP³ Gateway.

The IODP³ Gateway now accepts all proposal types - i.e. SPARCs and all forms of Scientific Ocean Drilling proposals - and submission guidelines can be found on our website here . These include step-by-step instructions and screenshots to help you navigate the Gateway system.

Any proposals submitted after the deadline will be reviewed in the next evaluation cycle. Please note - there is only one annual deadline for SPARC proposals, so any SPARC submissions received after 3rd March will not be assessed until February 2026!
